So, it is finally that time of year. Mashed potatoes being cooked up. Thinking about what you're thankful for.

Turkeys going into hiding.

And so I ask myself, Why? Why do these turkeys, these friendly fowls, have to go to the chopping block EVERY SINGLE YEAR?

It gets tiresome.

So today, I will start a new trend. Adopt a turkey onto your blog! It will show that you respect these beautiful birds.

Aha! Today was one of those days when my creative juices were flowing very nicely so you can guess what that means:

I FINALLY THOUGHT OF SOMETHING TO POST!

It is about something important.

To me, anyways.

Anyways, it's about something that I creatively devised: FAMOUS WRITER WATCH!!!!!

So, the FWW is big. It's huge! Well, not really. But really, it's all up to you. Want to find out how?

Well, it started like this. My good ol' cowpoke Tessa wrote on her blog that the Phantom Stallion books were some of the books she had read. Well, can you guess what happened next?

THE AUTHOR WROTE TO HER!

Of course, it made me insanely jealous and my close buddy a.k.a. sister Casey and I spent our time one night looking online for an author to write to. 

The results were amazing!

We found nothing.

Let's go on to a happier part . . .

Well, the author of our favorite books, The Penderwicks and The Penderwicks on Gardam Street, whose name is Jeanne Birdsall, was our main target.

Yup, Jeanne Birdsall was a tough find, but of course we found her.

But not any way to contact her.

On the mad writers hunt, we found nothing.
